Why are we doing what we do?
Of the 7 living species of sea turtle, 6 have become threatened or critically endangered over the last century. With only one in a 1,000 baby sea turtles making it to adulthood, efforts need to be made in order to prevent extinction. We hope to do our part as wise stewards here on earth and not only save baby sea turtles, but to help encourage others to take actions that will directly and indirectly save sea turtles and increase the viability of breeding populations.
Our mission is to save baby sea turtles by providing the highest quality in natural and handmade jewelry to our community of customers. We will take proceeds from each sale to directly fund the saving of baby sea turtles through SEETurtles.org.
Additionally, we hope to empower our customers to join us in becoming an army of volunteers (#TortugaWarriors) and take individualized action that will result in a cleaner, more beautiful world that will better help preserve our natural resources for future generations, and even save baby sea turtles now!
